SWADE Cannabis launches Mental Health Awareness Month event series to benefit NAMI To benefit NAMI
St. Louis, wellness sessions including breathwork, soundbaths, sculpt classes, and more will be hosted at The Church on Delmar throughout May
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, SWADE Cannabis is hosting a month-long wellness and giveback series at The Church on Delmar, its cannabis-friendly event space located above its Delmar dispensary. A portion of the proceeds from all May events will support local mental health resources for NAMI St. Louis.
The series features partner-led experiences with wellness practitioners, including Osprey Rising, Living Well STL, and Stonyrae Harris. Each partner will lead sessions focused on mental, emotional, and physical well-being, including movement, mindfulness, breathwork, and sound healing. Cannabis consumption is allowed at each event in the series, but participation in cannabis consumption is an individual choice; guests are encouraged to make informed decisions based on their personal health needs.
“Mental health is an essential part of overall wellness, and this series really reflects one of the reasons we created The Church on Delmar in the first place,” said Brandon Cavanagh, Director of Marketing at SWADE. “It’s meant to be a space where we can genuinely connect with the community and support well-being in all its forms. Our CEO, Kevin Riggs, experienced multiple concussions throughout his youth and college football career, which led to an ongoing journey with anxiety, something he believes stems from his time on the field. That experience also sparked his interest in exploring all-natural anxiety treatments, including cannabis, making this a deeply personal cause for our team. We want to prioritize mental health this month and for every guest and practitioner to feel they can find clarity, connection, and wellness through this series.”
