MoCannBizCon+EXPO adds career fair to conference

MoCannBizCon+EXPO Returns to St. Louis with Unique Additions for 2021

The new and improved hybrid event will include a cannabis industry career fair this year

MoCannBizCon+EXPO will be returning to the newly renovated Union Station on May 26th and 27th. These dates will be the Wednesday and Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. MoCannBizCon+EXPO is the premier cannabis business conference and expo for the Missouri and Greater Midwest cannabis industry.

Following two successful events in 2019 and 2020, with over 2,000 attendees each, Midwest Canna Expos will this year again produce the Midwest cannabis industry exposition in an effort to bring cannabis industry professionals together from all over the country for networking opportunities, educational sessions, and celebrations. MoCannBizCon+EXPO 2021 will be a hybrid event with both live and virtual platforms. Virtual only and hybrid tickets are now on sale starting at $99.

“We are so excited to be able to be back to business, and we are committed to hosting an event of extreme value to operators, while also prioritizing the safety of our guests,” said Karin Spinks, CEO of Midwest Canna Expos.

48,000+ square feet of expo floor in the historic Midway of Union Station will host 150+ exhibitors showcasing the leading products and services that are most relevant to the burgeoning Missouri medical cannabis industry. By connecting new and legacy operators with the resources they need to optimize and scale their businesses, this event will usher in the next wave of rapid growth for the Midwestern cannabis industry. From cultivation supplies and human resources management to brands and products to marketing and design, MoCannBizCon+EXPO provides attendees a dynamic and interactive experience to learn about the goods and services that cannabis operators need every day.

“This inclusive venue is the perfect location for this event,” said Ryan Keller, Business Development Director for Midwest Canna Expos. “Attendees can stay on site, and just about everything they need will be available on campus. They will be able to enjoy great restaurants and entertainment, as well as have access to the information and resources they need to grow their businesses.”

Currently, Union Station is operating at 50% capacity and would allow 2900 attendees to participate in the Educational Sessions and Expo — which is greater than attendance at the event in 2019 or 2020. Additionally, Union Station anticipates that restrictions on capacity will be relaxed in the next two months as more of the population is vaccinated and Missouri cases continue to decline. As the vaccine becomes more widely available here in Missouri, with all adult individuals in the state being given an opportunity to receive the vaccine by April 9th. Midwest Canna Expos is being thoughtful in its planning and will be diligent in its execution to create a safe place for cannabis industry professionals to re-connect.

New this year to MoCannBizCon+EXPO is the addition of a career fair component, which will take place on May 27th. MoCannBizCon+EXPO will host around forty (40) employers from the Greater Midwest cannabis industry. This will be a great opportunity for all of those who are already involved in the industry, are interested in working in the industry, and would simply like to learn more about the industry and those who enjoy working in it. Individuals with tickets to the expo will automatically gain access to this career fair. Career fair-only tickets will be priced at $25.
