MoCannBizCon kicks off Monday, hosting industry and cannabis education superstars

We are just a few days out from MoCannBizCon+Expo 2020. Over 100 exhibitors in the midwest cannabis industry will be flooding St. Louis’s Union Station, ready to network with Missourians on March 2-3, 2020.

Exhibitors will have booths for ticket holders to stop by and chat, and some are speaking on panels and providing education to conference attendees. BizCon will host those in cultivation, retail, lighting, manufacturing, fertilizer, HR/staffing, security, payment processing, and more on the expo show floor.

Greenway will be there, as well, releasing the March 2020 issue of Greenway Magazine and the inaugural Greenway Patients Magazine! Stop by booth #353 and say hi to us, and maybe score some Greenway swag.

We will also be hosting the “Best of the Industry” awards at the Monday night after-party. Awards will be presented to those who were voted by Greenway readers as the best in the industry in categories like patient care, business lawyers, advocacy, and CBD stores.

The Monday evening after party will be a blast, featuring live entertainment, a light show designed specifically for this unique industry in the Grand Hall of Union Station, 2019 Greenway reader’s choice for the Best of the Industry, and so much more.

Panels during the conference will have conversations in the area of manufacturing, retail operations, cultivation, and “Cannabiz 101.” Topics include “Athletes in Cannabis” with former NFL player Kyle Turley, former NFL player Grant Wistrom, and CrossFit athlete Dani Horan, moderated by Dr. Mimi Vo.

Dr. Diana Coats of CLOVR Cannabis will be speaking Monday morning about using data to drive decision making in cultivation operations. Other topics from speakers on Monday and Tuesday include but are not limited to; environmental responsibility in the cannabis industry, cannabis product development, securing your cultivation operation, normalizing banking for cannabis businesses, “the perils and pitfalls of CBD retail,” building brand loyalty, and patient interaction and education.

Keynote speakers include Dr. Sue Sisley, discussing her groundbreaking research in cannabis helping to push federal legalization, and Max Montrose of the Trichome Institute, a forefront player in understanding the world of terpenes.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for those wanting to get their foot in the door to Missouri’s cannabis industry. Tickets are still on sale at midwestcannaexpos.com. Use the code “GREENWAY25” to get 25% off your ticket purchase!
