Shangri-La launches “Fruit for Flower” donation drive at Missouri dispensaries
Shangri-La Dispensaries is encouraging customers and the community to donate canned fruit at their stores for The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri’s annual food drive.
Shangri-La is calling its annual partnership with The Food Bank the “Fruit for Flower” drive, which collects canned fruit for The Food Bank’s VIP Veteran Pack program. The program provides monthly boxes of food and personal care items to support veterans. Anyone who donates five cans of fruit will receive a store discount coupon.
Last year, Shangri-La’s customers donated 1700lbs of herbs and spices that directly benefited the 300 Veterans The Food Bank helps monthly.

Customers and community members can bring their donations to Shangri-La dispensaries in Jefferson City and Columbia, including
- Jefferson City at 2118 Missouri Blvd
- Columbia South at 3919 Peachtree Drive
- Columbia Superstore at 1401 Creekwood Pkwy
“Shangri-La and its customers are dedicated to giving back to our communities. We value our partnership with The Food Bank and share its dedication to feeding Missouri’s veterans,” said Nevil Patel, CEO of Shangri-La Dispensaries.
