Proper Brands announces acquisition of Captiva Healing Dispensary

This is the first approved sale of a commenced facility in Missouri by DHSS 

Proper Brands has been approved by Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) to acquire Captiva Healing Dispensary, located at 9933 Watson Road. This acquisition marks the first approved sale of a commenced, active facility in Missouri. 

The Crestwood location marks Proper Cannabis’ third dispensary in Missouri, alongside their Warrenton and South St. Louis County retail operations. Additionally, Proper Cannabis products are distributed wholesale throughout the state. 

“We are very excited to grow our Proper Cannabis’ retail footprint in the greater St. Louis area. We’ve been looking for opportunities to expand,” said CEO John Pennington. “Proper will continue to explore strategic retail options across Missouri to strengthen our presence and continue delivering the ‘Proper’ dispensary experience to patients.” 

Proper Cannabis Crestwood will undergo a brief closure for rebranding, and is expected to reopen within the next couple weeks.
