Mint Cannabis, ImpactLife to host summer blood drive series in St. Peters
The first drive is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, at Mint Cannabis, 150 Mid Rivers Mall Circle.
Mint Cannabis is partnering with ImpactLife to host a series of community blood drives this summer at the company’s St. Peters dispensary, beginning Saturday, May 16.
The blood drives will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the dispensary parking lot at Mint Cannabis, 150 Mid Rivers Mall Circle, in St. Peters, MO.
The full schedule includes:
Saturday, May 16, 2026: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, June 6, 2026: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, July 25, 2026: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

ImpactLife’s mobile donor bus will be on-site for each drive. Walk-ins will be accepted, but donors who make appointments in advance will be prioritized.
Successful donors may choose to receive a $20 e-gift card, redeem points through the ImpactLife Donor Rewards Store, or make an equivalent donation to a nonprofit organization.
The blood drives come as blood donations often decline during the summer months, when vacations and other seasonal activities can make it harder for blood centers to meet donor goals. According to ImpactLife, approximately 600 blood donors are needed each day to replenish blood supplies throughout the Midwest. The organization also reported a critically low supply of O negative and O positive blood, while noting that donors of all blood types are needed.
Someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds because of accidents, surgeries, illnesses, cancer treatments, and other medical emergencies, according to ImpactLife. Blood also has a short shelf life, requiring donations to be replenished regularly. Red blood cells must be used within 42 days, while platelets must be used within five days.
“We are devoted to helping the community however we can, and we are pleased to once again team up with ImpactLife to host four blood drives this summer,” said Eivan Shahara, CEO of Mint Cannabis. “By donating blood, you can literally help save a life.”
The full donation process typically takes about one hour and includes a complimentary mini-physical, a blood donation that lasts about 10 minutes, and time to rest and refresh with snacks and fluids.
To schedule an appointment, donors may call 1-800-747-5401 and request the Mint Cannabis St. Peters location. Appointments may also be made through ImpactLife’s online donor scheduling portal.
