Smokey River Entertainment District hosts the Missouri Growers’ Cup in Kansas City, MO

The cannabis community in Missouri has something to look forward to this fall with the premiere of the Missouri Growers’ Cup at the Smokey River Entertainment District in  Kansas City on September 23, 2023. This groundbreaking event will bring together cannabis enthusiasts,  industry professionals, and advocates for a day filled with excitement, education, and celebration.

“The team of people that have built this event are top-notch and will surely provide a beautiful day of music, education and enjoyment for all to experience,” says Nathan Marsh, Missouri Growers Cup President. “Our first Cannabis Cup was in 2015 with the passion to do a cup the right way with blind judging and a laser focus on highlighting the best in the industry while bringing consumers and brands together. We are beyond excited to bring that same philosophy and cup event to the Missouri cannabis community. There are some amazing growers and producers in the state and we can’t wait to give out  those trophies!”

“We have an opportunity to showcase the highest quality cannabis and the acceptance of cannabis in our everyday lives. We’re normalizing cannabis through hospitality,” says Joey Pintozzi, Vice President of  Operations and Marketing for Smokey River Entertainment. “This opportunity to partner with Nathan and his team was a no-brainer. They are the best-in-class at this and we knew that aligning ourselves  with them would be the only way to put this on.”

The Growers’ Cup promises to be an unforgettable experience for attendees, offering a wide range of  attractions and activities:

Not only will there be a great deal of Veteran education for the attendees but there will also be 500 free tickets given to Veterans so they can enjoy the music and a day dedicated to their service.

“Veterans can expect a day dedicated to great music, education and a spotlight on their service from a team that understands the need for more attention on the Veteran cannabis conversation. History is being made at this event and its dedication to the Veteran Community is inspiring,” says Radio Host and  Partner Waxy Brown.
