Elevate MO prepares for adult use in Missouri on February 6

Amendment 3’s passage in Missouri brought several changes to the state constitution, among them the ability for adults over 21 to purchase and possess cannabis. For Missourians, this change brings about expungement and microbusiness opportunities, as well as patient protections. The Department of Health and Senior Services Division of Cannabis Regulation’s published implementation timeline has set February 6, 2023 as the date when adults over 21 are able to purchase from licensed dispensaries that have completed the conversion process to sell adult-use products.

“Elevate MO made a huge commitment to both Missouri and Kansas City when taking ownership of Terrapin Care Station’s Missouri presence. With the passage of A3 we have the ability to bring significant growth in employment and revenue to the Greater Kansas City area and look forward to providing premium products at affordable prices for both medical patients and adult-use consumers,” said Chris Issinghoff, Director of Operations.

Elevate MO, a 100% locally owned and vertically integrated cannabis company, is preparing to celebrate the long-anticipated go-live date at all of its retail locations with special product offerings and patient education opportunities. Elevate MO, headquartered in Kansas City, MO, will give visitors the opportunity to support local food trucks at their Vivion Road and Belton locations from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm while they shop and mingle with what is likely to be quite a crowd on this first day of adult-use access.

In addition to the festivities, Elevate MO has also created a limited number of “End of Prohibition” packs for purchase, which will contain several of their products, including a 1/8th of flower, a vape cartridge, a 1 gram preroll, a 1 gram cured concentrate, and other items for $75. These are while supplies last and will be available at all three locations on this day. Visitors to Elevate MO dispensaries will see additional promotions in-store and special discounts for new customers which will be published in the stores, in accordance with Missouri regulations for advertising and promotion of cannabis products.

For patients, who have been and will continue to be a large portion of Missouri’s Medical Marijuana Program, Elevate MO wants to emphasize that they will not falter from their ever-growing commitment to community education. Medical patients can schedule a 1-on-1 appointment and dispensary tour with April Hatch, MSN, RN on Mondays at the Elevate MO Belton location, and the company will continue to offer educational opportunities for learning from the Cannabis Care Team throughout 2023. These appointments will provide patients the opportunity to ask questions about cannabis medicine in a stigma-free and confidential setting.

Hatch, who has received accolades as the Cannabis Nurse of the Year, is passionate about upholding Elevate MO’s commitment to education and with the implementation of adult use, plans to continue to serve patients with the same level of service they are given today.
