Dank & Dinks pickleball fundraiser set for September 30

Illicit, From the Earth, and CLOVR are teaming up to host Dank & Dinks, a cannabis-friendly pickleball fundraiser, on September 30 at Apex Sports Hub in Independence.

Running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will feature round-robin pickleball matches, food and beverages, prizes, and a designated consumption tent. Organizers say the day is designed to bring together industry professionals and the community for a mix of friendly competition and camaraderie.

All proceeds from the event will benefit local nonprofit organizations.

Down Syndrome Innovations, a leading Down Syndrome services provider in Kansas City, will receive support to further its mission of helping individuals live to their fullest potential. Charity Fund KC, a 501(c)(3) focused on youth empowerment and economic opportunity, will also benefit, along with the Laura Hay Humphrey Foundation, which helps Kansas City youth engage with the arts.

   

The event is billed as an opportunity to have fun, support good causes, and celebrate the community.

The event takes place at Apex Sports Hub, located at 19310 E 50th Terrace in Independence.
