Division of Cannabis Regulation hosts marijuana microbusiness webinar to aid prospective entrepreneurs

In an effort to support budding entrepreneurs and individuals interested in the cannabis industry, the Division of Cannabis Regulation, in collaboration with the Office of Business Opportunity, is hosting an informational webinar tonight. This online event is aimed at providing comprehensive guidance for the upcoming round of microbusiness applications.

Scheduled to take place from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, the webinar is a pivotal resource for those looking to venture into the cannabis microbusiness sector.

The webinar offers an open platform for participants to learn about vital application dates, eligibility criteria, application requirements, and the resources available to assist applicants; including highlighting changes from the first round of applications to the current application criteria. Additionally, the event will feature a question-and-answer session to address specific inquiries from participants.

As the DCR and OBO gear up to accept the second round of microbusiness license applications, from April 15 through April 29, through its online registry portal, prospective applicants are encouraged to seize this opportunity to gain valuable insights. The issuance of licenses is anticipated to occur in July.

Attendance for the webinar is complimentary; interested individuals may register in advance to secure their spot.

For those with specific questions related to microbusiness operations within the cannabis sector, the Division has made provisions for direct communication via email at cannabisinfo@health.mo.gov or through their helpline at (866) 219-0165.
