Kiva Confections introduces Camino Edibles to 16 new markets almost doubling number of adults with safe access to Kiva products

Hemp-Derived Delta-9 Edibles with the Same Flavor and Effects of Camino Gummies Now Legally Available Direct to Consumer via New Ecommerce Platform

Kiva Confections, a recognized leader in cannabis edibles and maker of the beloved Camino brand, today announced it is selling a new line of hemp-derived Delta-9 edibles with the same great flavors and effects of traditional Camino gummies directly to consumers in markets that allow it but are not yet selling Kiva products in licensed dispensaries.

“People across the U.S. want access to cannabis, specifically Kiva products; and while we wait for federal prohibition to end, we’ve found an innovative way to expand safe access to our products with hemp-derived Delta-9 edibles in compliance with the Farm Bill,” said Adam Grablick, COO, Kiva Confections. “Opening up this new channel for people ensures Kiva is protecting consumers by providing access to safe products for adults who live in a state where cannabis is not yet legal or who live in places without easy access to a regulated dispensary, to add to the growing number of adults who want to use cannabis for increased wellness, enjoyment and self-care.” (According to Gallup Annual Consumption Survey July 2023, both trial of marijuana and the percentage of consumers smoking have reached an all time high of 50% and 17%, respectively)

Through the 2018 Farm Bill, which allows for THC content of a product below 0.3% by weight, the hemp-derived Delta-9 Camino products are now available for consumers in select markets at https://kivaconfections.shop/ starting with the following skus:

  • Midnight Blueberry – for Sleep (5mg THC | 1mg of CBN)

  • Social Pear – Social (2mg THC | 6mg CBD)

  • Watermelon Lemonade – Bliss (5mg THC)

  • Wild Berry – Chill (5mg THC)

  • Wild Cherry – Excite (5mg THC)

“Kiva has seen great success in regulated cannabis markets around the country through our hard work and trusted partner ecosystem,” Grablick added. “We are taking an omnichannel approach to sales and are starting by launching hemp derived products directly to consumers in markets where Kiva products are not yet available.”

Markets where the hemp-derived Delta-9 edibles will be available to ship from the ecommerce platform include Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Indiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
