CBD Kratom clarifies no involvement in Attorney General’s CID inquiry in Missouri

In response to a civil investigative demand (CID) issued by Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, CBD Kratom has clarified that it has no connection to the company under investigation.

The CID, which targets several businesses for potentially unsafe and illegal vape and cannabis products, specifically named “CBD Kratom Connect LLC,” a separate entity from CBD Kratom.

CBD Kratom operates over 60 retail locations across the U.S., including in major cities like Chicago, Dallas, and New York.

“On the evening of April 17, 2024, MNG 2005 Inc. d/b/a CBD Kratom was informed of a company named “CBD Kratom Connect LLC” that received one of Attorney General Bailey’s civil investigative demands (CID). CBD Kratom has no connection with this company. It is not part of its business structure, nor has it conducted business with this other entity. CBD Kratom is not the recipient of one of Attorney General Bailey’s CID,” the company said in a statement.

   

In its statement, CBD Kratom emphasized its commitment to compliance and consumer safety, reinforcing that it is not involved in the Attorney General’s current CID.
