High Scores: Queso Perro Badder by Cloud Cover Cannabis

High Scores: Queso Perro Badder by Cloud Cover Cannabis

There is sometimes a stigma with cured resin products, “the color is too dark,” “the flavor doesn’t pop,” or “It just doesn’t hit the same.”

Today we will examine a product from Cloud Cover Cannabis called “Queso Perro” that not only checks all the boxes, but will debunk the claims about cured products. As always I will use a clean E-rig to test this product.

I chose Queso Perro because, honestly, I thought the name “Cheese Dog” is amazing, and I love the old school Cheese Strain and the terps it has. As I opened the box, I was excited to see what this badder was going to look like. As I flipped the jar over I was amazed to see how bright white the color was! I opened the jar to the strong cheesy fragrance I’d been familiar with many years ago. The consistency was flawless; it was soft and easy to work with.

Visual Appearance 10 It was a beautiful off-white tint and was visibly soft looking. No impurities and really nothing to subtract from the appearance.

Smell/Aroma 10 Straight Cheese funk exploded out of the container. It made my mouth water

Consistency 9 The consistency was what you would expect from badder, with a small terp layer.

I placed a hefty chunk on my dabber and away I went. There was no excess crackle when I placed the dab onto the nail. The Flavor was more impressive than I expected, long lingering cheese tones with some fruit on the back end. There was no harshness at all on this product leading me to take far too big of a hit.

Moisture/Solvent 10 There was no presence of excess moisture or solvent. No crackling as the product heated.

Initial Flavor 9 I enjoyed the flavor, and it took me back to a time when I was first being introduced to cannabis.

Harshness 10 There was no harshness and as usual I took way too big of a dab leaving myself floored.

Exhale Flavor 9 I was impressed with the long lasting flavor and how it changed during the exhale.

I was lit up, like Christmas in July. It took a while to gather my faculties and complete the potency grades. I also took another dab a few hours later that was much more reasonable to assess if the potency was truly the 10 I thought it was or if it had just been such a large dab it seemed that way. I was happy to conclude the product was just very strong and impactful. I was pretty down for the count. Went to bed at 8 pm.

Potency 9 This product hits as hard as most live resins I’ve had. Very impressed with the punch to the face that it gives you.

Effect 9 The sleepy time indica effect was welcomed as I often have trouble sleeping.

Repeat Excitement 10 Cured products tend to be a little easier on the bank account and for that reason I’m stoked to try this product again and would recommend it for its medicinal value and its smell and flavor will sooth the nostalgia if you haven’t gotten to try cheese in a long time.

I loved the experience trying and reviewing this product from Cloud Cover. I’m inclined to seek out more of their products and you shouldn’t be surprised to read another review from them in the future. Until then, I’ll be on the hunt for the dankest products in Missouri’s market and I can’t wait to share my findings with you all.
