Manufacturer Terrabis responds to Missouri’s potential marijuana shortage

Missouri-based cannabis company Terrabis, the Midwest’s premier dispensary and product manufacturer, is doing everything it can to prepare for a potential marijuana shortage in Missouri.

Since recreational marijuana sales began in Missouri in February 2023, the state is seeing record sales numbers. March sales totaled $126.2 million, an increase of almost 23% over February, putting Missouri on track to be the fastest state in history to reach $1 billion in annual sales.

The increase in sales is reportedly putting a strain on the Missouri marijuana industry that may need to prepare for a potential shortage. Shortages in the supply chain could lead to possible increases in product prices.

Terrabis employs over 100 people across the state of Missouri. With its manufacturing facility headquartered in Kansas City supplying the market with multiple product types, including marijuana pre-rolls, concentrates, and vapes, Terrabis is one of the largest cannabis production facilities in the state. The company distributes products under brands such as Hooter, Sunday Papers, FUBAR, Stardust, and Clouds. Soon, it will also produce its own Terrabis branded pre-rolls.

In response to the growing demand for high-quality, locally produced Missouri cannabis products, Terrabis has plans to expand its manufacturing space in the near future. Until then, the company will focus on its manufacturing and distribution efforts to keep dispensary shelves fully stocked.

“We’re committed to doing everything in our power to keep up with Missourians’ high demand for top-quality cannabis products,” said Terrabis CEO, Dan Ambrosino. “From our manufacturing facility to our dispensaries, we will continue doing our best to manage the supply chain and keeping pricing reasonable”.

Customers can find Terrabis products at its five dispensary locations across Missouri in Springfield, Kansas City, Creve Coeur, Hazelwood, and O’Fallon.

Earlier this month, Terrabis announced its expansion into Illinois with the opening of the first recreational dispensary in Grayville, IL, coming soon.
