Heya Wellness awarded two new cultivation licenses

On Wednesday, March 9, Heya Wellness was awarded two additional cultivation licenses by Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services, CUL000071 (Kirksvillle) and CUL000072 (Excello). Each of these cultivation licenses
are adjacent to existing Heya Wellness licensed manufacturing facilities which are already in operation.

Heya Wellness currently holds licenses for cultivation, manufacturing, and dispensary in Missouri and these two new licenses will enable Heya to expand our reach and product line types – providing patients with even more access to safe and consistent plant medicine.

“Heya Wellness and DHSS have worked together collaboratively over the past year to resolve licensing issues and we couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to hold licenses in Missouri’s medical cannabis program,” said Carl Bearden, Heya’s President.

In accordance with the program’s regulation, Heya’s first step will be to complete the
minimum standards assessment and then commencement must occur within one year, placing the date for commencement for the new licenses by March 9, 2023.

Currently, Heya Wellness produces and sells multiple products in Missouri, including high quality flower and Smokiez gummies. Additional products are set for launch in second quarter. “This year Heya Wellness will be introducing new products with a fresh brand look and feel for our patients and we’re excited to bring them to market,” said
Mandy Lehnbeuter, partner at Heya.
