Leading cannabis edibles company joins Missouri’s market

A Kansas City-based cannabis manufacturing company, Clovr, has partnered with cannabis edibles giant, Wana Brands, to bring edible products to the rapidly growing and much anticipated Missouri market. The Colorado brand launched in 2010 and already serves California, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Oklahoma, Arizona, Oregon, and now Missouri, with plans to operate in Maryland and Florida. Wana Brands also recently established an international footprint, bringing its products to the Canadian cannabis market through a license agreement with Indiva Limited.

“To say that we are excited to bring Wana to Missouri would be an understatement. Wana has consistently proven to be in a class of their own when it comes to cannabis-infused edibles in North America. Pairing Wana’s high-quality line of products with Clovr’s recognizable brand in Missouri will be a powerhouse combination,” said Josh Mitchem, CEO of Clovr.

According to the Brand Share Report from cannabis market research and data company, BDS Analytics, Wana became the number one cannabis edibles company in the United States, with more dollars sold than any other brand. Missouri’s consumers will benefit substantially from Wana’s experience in the cannabis edibles space, especially as legislation aimed directly at cannabis edibles is potentially coming into play in Missouri.

Wana Brands offers a vegan gummy to the cannabis market through their Wana Sours line, made with fruit pectin instead of the traditional gelatin in gummies. Every Wana product is also gluten-free and free of artificial sweeteners and mineral oil. Wana’s products vary in terms of its THC/CBD dosage and cannabinoid profile. The company’s online menu boasts indica, sativa, and hybrid strains to choose from.

Referencing Clovr’s most recent blog post, Clovr “has expanded its product portfolio with a range of different CBD/THC ratios as well as a variety of different dosages, onset times and duration of effects. The portfolio is designed so that products can be used singly or in combination to address specific health and wellness needs.” Their product line is diverse, offering consumers edibles, vapes, and extended-release capsules.

Wana Brands is excited to bring its highly-favored products to the Missouri market. “We regularly hear from medical marijuana patients that they count on Wana Brands products because of our consistent products, as well as the wide range of ratios and classes that allow the ability to dial in a desired experience,” said Nancy Whiteman, the CEO of Wana Brands. “With so many already registered for the Missouri medical marijuana program, it is clear that patients are looking for alternative treatment options for a host of health and wellness issues.”
