BeLeaf: Fastest Growing CBD Company of 2019

BeLeaf Co. started as a non-profit company in Missouri, growing, extracting and producing a high-CBD oil for epilepsy patients since 2016. Their focus on extremely ill patients has pushed them to cultivate a deeper focus on how they grow, process, and rigorously test all of their products.

Voted as one of Missouri’s Best CBD Companies and recognized as being one of the fastest-growing companies in the state, BeLeaf’s commitment to passionately producing all-natural and holistic whole hemp plant CBD oil has helped to set the standard for patient care across the state. Greenway spoke with CEO Mitch Meyers to learn more about BeLeaf.

Today BeLeaf has three lines of CBD hemp oil products, all focused on purity and potency: a full-spectrum line, a CBD-isolate specifically formulated for pharmacies and physician offices, and a line for pets. After many years of being active in the Missouri community to help get the medical cannabis initiative on the ballot as well as helping to found MoCannTrade, BeLeaf was humbled to receive 3 cultivation licenses, 2 manufacturing licenses, and 5 dispensary licenses from the state of Missouri. They expect to have medical cannabis products ready for sale later this summer, carrying the experience with creating high-quality CBD oil and customer service into their marijuana facilities.

“We started by treating epilepsy patients, so we are patient-focused,” Meyers said. “We aren’t just selling products but understanding what people are needing treatment for so we work to get the best out of our oil for their needs.

“We have a chain of custody that starts at day zero and literally continues to the point that the product is packaged and delivered to the end-user,” Meyers continued. “Our production is very tightly controlled and grown indoor through a sophisticated hydroponic system. Meaning, everything the plant needs comes through the nutrients that are carefully monitored in our water. This eliminates toxic heavy metals often found in soil and we never use pesticides.” They also conduct rigorous testing throughout the growing and production process, and offer lab reports online for every single batch.

In addition, BeLeaf works to actively contribute to their Missouri community, donating to and participating in events such as the Annual Epilepsy Gala in St. Louis and The Mission Continues. They have also sponsored medically focused shows with Logan School of Chiropractic and the Brain Injury Association of Missouri and are actively donating CBD oil to St. Louis University for medical research.

“Providing relief to medical patients in Missouri has always been a priority for us,” Meyers said. “We are excited that we have the opportunity to continue this through the state’s medical marijuana program.”
