Emergency rules posted for Missouri’s industrial hemp program

 

Earlier this month the Missouri Department of Agriculture announced that it would not be submitting a plan to for its hemp program to the USDA, instead Missouri will operate independently within the framework of the Farm Bill and legislation passed in the Missouri Legislature in 2019.

On December 16 Missouri released the final applications for hemp producers in state. Beginning January 2, 2020 the state will start to accept those applications.

   

Today the Department of Agriculture released the program’s emergency rules.
