We Are JAINE Launches

ST LOUIS, MISSOURI — A new Midwest, female focused business organization has been established, cultivated from the burgeoning community of women involved in establishing and building Missouri’s medical marijuana program. Called, “We are JAINE,” it is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit business league, organized and operated by its members for its members.

To officially launch its membership drive, JAINE will host a free virtual inaugural introductory event on Thursday, September 2, 6 p.m. Central Time. Advance registration is required to access the online meeting link. The organization’s website— www.WeAreJaine.com — will also go live on September 2. It details membership options, and introduces the JAINE board, committees, and the organization’s future activities.

We are JAINE’s mission is focused on supporting, honoring, and educating women in an emerging industry by building alliances to foster a united voice through mentorship, empowerment, and networking. JAINE will foster inclusivity, empowerment, advocacy and education through varied networking events, specialized programs and forums, professional development and mentorship, resource and knowledge share, and community-based initiatives. Its initial activities include hosting online webinars, offered free to JAINE members and at a nominal cost for non-members. Scheduled topics include a workforce development seminar and cannabis health-science discussion.

Dozens of businesswomen have collaborated on creating JAINE, and include cannabis professionals and tradeswomen, ancillary business owners and managers, cannabis healthcare and wellness practitioners, and medical marijuana patients and caregivers.

   

Collectively five JAINE subcommittees are responsible for membership experience, B2B and B2C community outreach, educational and organizational operations. Committees include:
