5 Cannabis Apps to check out
Over the past few years, cannabis apps have started to multiply quickly. While several exist in regional areas, there are some which are national and quite popular. We pulled together our list of 5 that we think patients will be interested in checking out and that operators might plan to utilize for their businesses.
- Leafly – perhaps the most popular, Leafly has several specialities, including the popular “finder” feature to help patients find dispensaries and products near them. Our favorite part of the app is the strain finder. Not only does it include a massive database with the basics about individual strains, but it provides reviews from users that are super helpful.
- WeedMaps – when it comes to finding dispensaries and products, WeedMaps has the largest footprint of all apps of this type. Their sweet spot could be the ease of delivery services but they also provide doctor listings and strain profiles.
- WeGrow – an application for home growers, WeGrow provides a framework to maintain your personal plants. It also gives helpful tips on grow recipes and allows users to keep track of watering and lighting.
- Tokr – provides everything you need to know about weed care, with a strong lifestyle slant. Whether you’re looking for relaxation or exercise, CBD, THC, or even both, this cannabis app will handle that.
- MassRoots – quickly becoming a third front runner to Leafly and WeedMaps, MassRoots has pages filled with information about strains, brands, and dispensaries, as well as stories relating to studies on CBD, recipes, and the latest marijuana legislation.
