SWADE’s Best Buds: Toasted Harvest kicks off tomorrow with infused brunch at Urban Buds
The canna-culinary series returns with infused brunch, spooky cocktails, and Peruvian-inspired dishes this fall
SWADE Cannabis brings back its popular canna-culinary event series this weekend with Best Buds: Toasted Harvest, a celebration of food, community, and approachable cannabis experiences that continues through November.
The fall series begins tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 12, with SWADE’s first-ever outdoor dining event — an infused brunch at Urban Buds: City Grown Flowers featuring Executive Chef Ana Hall of Soul 2 Soul. Guests will enjoy farm tours, garden-fresh cocktails, and a multi-course menu including Bloody Mary deviled eggs, mini BLT croissants, and shrimp ’n’ biscuits, all enhanced with High Five STiRiBLES, a locally made food-and-beverage cannabis product curated for chefs. The brunch runs 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and tickets are $125.

“‘Collaborating with Urban Buds: City Grown Flowers and SWADE is a unique joy,’ said Executive Chef Ana Hall of Soul 2 Soul. ‘Together they inspire me to craft an unforgettable experience where guests leave inspired, delighted, and immersed in lasting memories, unique flavors, and a deeper appreciation for creativity and community.’”
Now in its third installment, Best Buds pairs notable Missouri chefs and mixologists with SWADE’s mission to make cannabis consumption welcoming and educational. Previous events have featured chefs Nick Bognar, Logan Ely, and Alex Henry. This season adds new partners and themed experiences inspired by the flavors and spirit of autumn.
“As we head into our third Best Buds dinner series in St. Louis, we’re thrilled to see the excitement continue to grow,” said Brandon Cavanagh, SWADE’s Director of Marketing. “‘This season marks our very first outdoor dining experience with Executive Chef Ana Hall at Urban Buds. Whether guests are coming out to try vibrant Peruvian flavors, Halloween-inspired mocktails and bites, or to eat amongst a sprawling flower farm, we are stoked to continue creating approachable, cannabis-friendly moments that bring people together in memorable ways.’”
Following tomorrow’s brunch, Best Buds: Toasted Harvest continues with:
“Corpse Reviver” at Lazy Tiger – Oct. 28
A spooky-season takeover by Tim Wiggins, featuring a welcome mocktail, two infused non-alcoholic cocktails, and a three-course dinner with dishes such as spicy shrimp ceviche, chili-glazed pork belly, and chorizo-broccolini tamales. Two seatings: 5 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Tickets $60.
Brasas – Nov. 10
Chef Andrew Cisneros presents an infused Peruvian-style feast with smoky pollo a la brasa, zesty ceviche, and bold, spice-driven sauces. Details and ticket information will be shared soon through SWADE and Brasas’ social media channels.
The Toasted Harvest series also expands west with new Kansas City collaborations in November, including dinners at Fox and Pearl and The Westside Local — the first Best Buds events to reach the Kansas City market since SWADE acquired five dispensaries there earlier this year.
