Each year, Greenway asks readers to vote for the industry leaders, businesses, brands, and products they believe represent the Best of the Industry in Missouri cannabis. What began as a way to recognize standout operators has evolved alongside the market itself, reflecting the continued growth, maturation, and diversification of cannabis in the Show-Me State.

As Missouri’s adult-use and medical marijuana programs continue to develop, so have the categories. New recognitions and refined distinctions better capture the professionals, service providers, cultivators, manufacturers, retailers, advocates, and products shaping the state’s cannabis ecosystem. From wholesale sales professionals and retail leaders to packaging design, marketing campaigns, and specific product categories, this year’s ballot reflects the full scope of a competitive and innovative marketplace.

This year, we introduce two additional forms of recognition: Industry Select Awards and Editor’s Choice Awards.

Industry Select Awards honor nominees in categories where a single individual or organization overwhelmingly dominated nominations or were recognized as both readers and panelists as being deserving of recognition in a limited field. Editor’s Choice Awards are selected by Greenway’s editors and staff, highlighting standout products, collaborations, and initiatives that made a significant impression over the past year.

Finally, this year, eight of the most esteemed categories will be announced live on March 21, 2026, at the Greenway Best of the Industry event at Warehouse on Broadway in Kansas City. For these categories, the top finalists can be viewed below, and will be updated after the live announcement.
