Cúrador sponsors Monarch Waste Co.’s Vape Pen Takeback Program
Monarch Waste Co.is excited to announce its latest partnership with Cúrador, a manufacturer of thoughtfully crafted cannabis products. Cúrador is covering costs associated with Monarch’s Disposable Vape Pen Takeback Program, making participation accessible to every dispensary in Missouri.
The program provides dispensaries with everything needed for the proper disposal of all-in-one (AIO) disposable vape pens. This is one of the cannabis industry’s toughest sustainability challenges, as each unit contains a lithium-ion battery that can’t safely be tossed in standard trash or recycling streams.

Cúrador sponsors the $300 kiosk unit cost, $115 pickup fee that covers up to 40 miles, and $4.81/lb. recycling fee. Monarch installs the kiosk and recycles lithium-ion batteries with local certified R-2 recyclers. As a result, dispensaries can stay focused on their daily operations while remaining fully compliant and sustainable.
“Dispensaries that join the program are making a difference in environmental safety while strengthening community trust and brand reputation,” said Zach McCullough, CEO and Co-Founder of Monarch Waste Co. “Our partnership with Cúrador removes financial barriers to participation, making it easy for dispensaries to get involved. All participants help pave the way for a more sustainable cannabis industry.”
