Timeless announces Smoke on the Water celebration at Lake of the Ozarks
Timeless, one of the most creative and engaging brands in the cannabis industry, is set to host “Smoke on the Water” on September 14 at Party Cove, Lake of the Ozarks.
This one-of-a-kind gathering is designed to bring together Missouri’s cannabis community for a day of relaxation, entertainment, and brand engagement aboard a massive 96 ft x 24 ft barge.
“Smoke on the Water has really turned into something pretty awesome,” said Dub Warner, Missouri Field Marketing Manager for Timeless. The event, which is expected to draw significant interest, will feature a series of brand activations from top cannabis brands such as Local Cannabis, GRON, Illicit, Rogue Green, and VIBE. Warner emphasized the unique setup, explaining that the barge will be securely anchored in place, creating a stable and comfortable environment for guests to enjoy the festivities. “There will be a ramp on the edge of the barge, allowing guests to swim up and walk right onto the platform,” Warner added, highlighting the interactive nature of the event.
Aboard the barge, guests will be treated to a Taco Bros pop-up, a local staple known for satisfying cravings. “We’ll have Taco Bros serving guests, and each GA ticket comes with a trio of tacos,” Warner shared. This ensures that guests can enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the vibrant atmosphere on the barge.
For those looking to elevate their experience, Timeless is offering a VIP package that enhances the atmosphere. Guests opting for the VIP experience will stay in vibrant, pastel-colored properties situated across from Backwater Jacks. These accommodations, though not owned by Backwater Jacks, provide easy access to the event’s land host and offer a blend of comfort and communal living.
The properties offer different options to cater to varying preferences. The King Size option includes a private setup featuring a spacious king bed, full kitchen, bathroom, and a cozy living room. This option is ideal for those seeking privacy within a shared environment. On the other hand, the Queen Size option is perfect for those who prefer a more communal atmosphere. This setup includes two queen beds in a shared space, with access to a kitchen and living room, creating a setting conducive to socializing with fellow guests.
Warner elaborated on the VIP experience, stating, “Each VIP package includes a plus one, along with a $100 gift card to Backwater Jacks for food on Friday and Saturday night, and a ride on the Illmaculata, one of the Ozarks’ biggest boats.” He further added, “VIP guests will be treated to additional surprises in their rooms, including Timeless custom merch and gifts from other sponsors,” ensuring that guests feel welcomed and part of a larger community experience.
In addition to the event itself, Timeless is running a special giveaway for a king-size VIP package. “We’re going to make this bigger and better every year. This year, we added the king size VIP option, then took it a step further by giving one away. This includes a Friday and Saturday night stay,” Warner announced. This package also includes goodie bags from all participating brands, a yacht ride to the barge, and breakfast on Saturday morning, making it an enticing opportunity for those who enter.
Transportation logistics have been carefully planned to ensure smooth access to the event. “We’ll have a pontoon shuttle boat running from Backwater Jacks to the barge shuttling guests, while our VIPS will have the added experience of traveling on the Illmaculata,” Warner explained. The shuttle service will operate every half hour, providing convenient and regular transportation for attendees, whether they’re arriving for the first time or heading back to shore after enjoying the festivities.
Timeless has also outlined strict rules to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. “There won’t be any alcohol provided on the barge; we’re keeping that away from the event,” Warner stated, underscoring the focus on a cannabis-centric experience. Additionally, smoking cannabis will be prohibited at Backwater Jacks, the event’s land host, and those who violate this rule will face removal from the event. Warner emphasized the importance of adhering to these guidelines to ensure that everyone can enjoy the day without any issues.
