Honeybee Edibles launches filled Peanut Butter and Jelly Chocolate Bars alongside solventless rosin gumdrops

Honeybee Edibles announces the highly anticipated release of two new gourmet edibles: the Peanut Butter and Jelly Chocolate Bar and the Solventless-Rosin Gumdrops

The Peanut Butter and Jelly Chocolate Bar, the first filled bar in Missouri, is a modern version of a timeless classic, expertly crafted by Chef Dave Owens and his culinary team. Close your eyes, take a bite, and relive your favorite childhood memories. Strawberry jelly-infused milk chocolate surrounds a smooth peanut butter center. This 1:1 bar is available in classic strength (100mg THC / 100mg CBD), as well as High Potency (300mg THC / 300mg CBD).

“I knew I wanted to add a filled chocolate bar to the Honeybee line, but it requires more time and precision than our standard bar. With the addition of our new gumdrop depositing line and new team members, we’re finally at a place where we can make it happen. I’m really happy with how the bar turned out. Everyone that’s tried the unmedicated sample bars have loved it,” said chef Owens.

Honeybee is also thrilled to unveil its Solventless Real Fruit Gumdrops, available in Strawberry Basil Mojito and Tangerine Dream. These gumdrops are the result of Proper’s highly acclaimed, cutting-edge solventless extraction process that preserves the purity of the cannabinoids and terpenes, delivering an authentic and true-to-plant experience.

Proper’s COO and Co-Founder, Matt Labrier, says, “A lot of time and planning went into these—we purposefully added new strains with citrus and fruit-heavy flavor profiles to our grow over a year ago, like Strawberry Bubbles and Big Citrus, because we wanted something to closely match some of our favorite R&D flavors Chef Dave had made.”

Proper Rosin is hash rosin, meaning it begins as ice water hash, which is a collection of trichome heads that are suspended in water and then filtered through a series of screens. The filtered material is then freeze-dried and refined using only heat and pressure—no solvents are used. After being pressed, the rosin is homogenized, then very gently melted before being incorporated into the edibles. This is a time and labor-intensive process that requires a delicate touch.
