BeLeaf bringing Chicago-based HT23’s ‘Savour’ cannabis gummy to Missouri market
Partnership brings new product and provides financial support while promoting social equity and diversity in cannabis market
BeLeaf Medical is excited to announce its partnership with HT23, a Chicago-based operator holding one of the first production licenses awarded from the Illinois Social Equity cannabis program. BeLeaf will bring HT23’s flagship product, the ‘Savour’ (sā·vər) gummy, to market through its existing operations, well ahead of HT23’s facility completion.
As a socially responsible cannabis company, BeLeaf recognizes the challenges faced by social equity license recipients in accessing start-up capital and developing their businesses. BeLeaf is committed to providing a much-needed revenue stream to fuel HT23’s cannabis production startup..
According to BeLeaf CEO Jason Nelson, “It is incumbent on all existing licensed operators to robustly support new business entrants that must be escalated under the collective responsibility in building equitable inclusion amongst minority-operated cannabis businesses. Existing cannabis operators must be willing to excessively skew brand launch benefits towards SEA business partners while fully honoring commitments made when advocating for adult-use cannabis programs.”
