Local entrepreneur launches new jewelry collection this fall for those that love the leaf
Entrepreneur and Philanthropist Dena Ladd has launched Flora Jaine: A cannabis inspired accessory collection who intends to give back to the research community. The collection, priced from $45-$120, features styles composed of necklaces and earrings in silver and gold tone finishes and small leather accessories.
Flora Jaine came from Ladd’s longtime passion for research as well as her interest in how plant based medicine can help patients with devastating diseases. The company combines her former experience of working for the largest luxury goods company in the world, LVMH, and her passion for research and giving back.
“Over two decades ago, I became involved with advocating to protect medical research in Missouri. When medical cannabis passed in 2018, I also wanted my advocacy efforts to include plant-based research. I recognize a responsibility to help create a way to dissolve the stigma attached to cannabis, especially since the majority of the nation now has some form of legal consumption,” said Dena Ladd, CEO and President of Flora Jaine. “My company can be an elevated and subtle way to show support and Love of the Leaf. Plus, I want to give back to the community and will be donating back a portion of the profits to plant based research. We need to see how cannabis can assist those suffering from debilitating conditions and diseases.”
