Easy Mountain and HeadChange exclusive collab drops this week
One of Missouri’s most well-known independent dispensaries has partnered with one of the state’s leaders in manufactured marijuana products to create something unique for patients, just in time for 420.
Easy Mountain, one of the state’s iconic dispensary brands, and HeadChange, a Curador brand that has developed a reputation for some of the state’s highest quality concentrates, have partnered on an exclusive offering for Missouri medical marijuana patients.
Greenway spoke to Easy Mountain’s Alex Paulson to find out what patients can expect and how the partnership came to be.
“From the time that (Curador Co-founder) Cory Sanson and I met, it was clear that we were on the same wavelength,” Paulson told Greenway. “We clicked because of our obsessions. We are both obsessed with great hash, great food, and obsessed with making our brands the best they possibly can be.”
“From the start of our dispensary, we knew we would want to curate Easy Mountain specific strains, and after meeting Cory and his team, and trying their hash, it was clear that we had found the group to make those products – a group that puts as much love and care into their hash as we do into our customer service.”
How much input did Easy Mountain have into the development?
Easy mountain worked directly with the HeadChange team in the creation of Easy Wind. Starting off with the feelings and vibe we wanted the strain to produce, we worked to create a blend that is truly unique. After we nailed down the general effects we wanted to target, the HeadChange team went to work on different profiles until they found something their expert noses loved. Once you crack open a jar of Easy Wind, you’ll understand why it stood out to them as “The One”.
What makes this project unique?
Being able to pair the Easy Mountain retail experience with some of the sharpest minds in our market for manufacturing concentrates is a recipe for success. The HeadChange guys obviously know what they’re doing and have delivered top-shelf products again and again, but at Easy Mountain we’re very confident curators of the products we carry here and a lot of that confidence comes from our ability to listen to our patients. We thrive on consistent experiences both in our store, and when you get home, so it’s essential for us to get feedback from our clients. This project, Easy Wind, is the first of many manifestations of that experience coming to life.
Tell us about the drop. What are you bringing to patients in Southwest Missouri?
HeadChange and Easy Mountain Present: Easy Wind. (Clementine X Gelato) X Dos Si Dos. Cory Sanson, CSO/ Co-Founder of HeadChange describes Easy Winds as follows “A good hash profile is like Jerry Garcia finding his stride at Nassau Colliseum 3/29/90. Easy Wind is our stride. Rich and Creamy nodes of Orange Creamsicle that is met by a choke-worthy gassy exhale. Providing a HeadChange that is bursting with euphoria and relaxation.” and it pairs well with Safety Meetings inside the Mystery Van.
How long will Easy Wind be available?
Easy Wind will only be available at Easy Mountain. Because of the uniqueness of this profile, it will be limited and once its gone, its gone.
What made Easy Mountain the right partner for HeadChange and vice versa?
To summarize, we both pass the cannabis community vibe check. There are plenty of people in the cannabis industry that appreciate cannabis and firmly believe in its medical value, but not all really actively celebrate cannabis and the auxiliary activities around it. Things like music festivals, collectible custom blown glass pieces or heady art in general, tie dye tee shirts, stoner movies, and did I say music festivals? The Easy Mountain crew are 100% cannabis culture people and the HeadChange folks are no different. While we’re 100% professional in our careers and personal lives, we’re also real ambassadors of cannabis who let that be known unashamedly everywhere we go.
