JAINE hosts free stay-healthy holiday workshop

 

JAINE will host a free health-focused holiday workshop Thursday, December 16, 6 – 7 p.m.

“How to Maintain Health & Balance During the Holidays” will be a free, interactive workshop focusing on how to maintain a healthy endocannabinoid system (ECS) during the holidays. JAINE members will lead the session, discussing the critical role of Cannabinoids and Terpenes, how the ECS works, what an ECS deficiency is, and how to keep it healthy with food and exercise. The hour-long event will conclude with an interactive demonstration on handmaking fragrant and terpene rich salve. The step-by-step process for making Orange Soothing Salve will be featured. JAINE’s holiday workshop hosts will be Tammy Puyear, JAINE co-president; Jamie Dennis, COCO Dispensary Regional Manager; and Suzanne Morrison, JAINE Health & Wellness Committee Co-Chair.

JAINE was established this summer, cultivated from the burgeoning community of women involved in establishing and building Missouri’s medical marijuana program.
