A2C invites aspiring Missouri cannabis employees to attend educational webinar
Interactive event is aimed at educating those seeking to join the medical marijuana workforce
Amendment 2 Consultants (A2C) will hold Becoming a Budtender, a two-part educational webinar, on June 22nd and June 24th. The virtual event hosted by Missouri’s leading cannabis consulting firm will cover critical information for those seeking employment in Missouri’s blossoming medical marijuana industry.
A2C has led training events for more than a dozen licensed Missouri medical marijuana facilities and will extend that same expertise to prospective industry employees through this webinar. The event will be beneficial for both inexperienced candidates aspiring to understand fundamental cannabis science and also for experienced candidates seeking an advanced understanding of the Missouri Medical Marijuana Program rules and regulations.
“Since the first sales to patients last fall, Missouri’s medical marijuana industry has grown to employ thousands of people,” said John Payne, founder of A2C and one of the co-authors of Article XIV, which legalized medical marijuana in Missouri. “And with half of the state’s dispensaries yet to open their doors, the hiring wave has just begun. This is an excellent opportunity for job candidates to learn the foundations of working in the industry from experts who have been involved with the program since the very beginning.”
