MoCannBizCon pre-sale discount tickets limited
MoCannBizCon+ Expo 2020 is shaping up, with space flying and the floor being expanded. Last year’s conference saw 3,000 attendees – 2020 attendees will see a conference supporting a licensed industry full of momentum.
Greenway Magazine caught up with the Midwest Canna Expos master of ceremonies Karin Sprinks Chester, who is leading her team and partners in shaping the conference.
“We expanded the primary expo floor and that space is 55%sold out,” Chester said. “We’ve opened up the midway east expansion, which is near the entrance to the new aquarium. Midway east will also host the demo stage, where exhibitors and sponsors will be able to demonstrate their goods and services. “There are going to be vendors and exhibitors from all aspects of the cannabis industry,” Chester said. “Whether you are interested in cultivation or being a dispensary operator, we will have service providers and potential partners who are prepared to work within these Midwest markets. “On the morning of day two, we are hosting a women in cannabis networking breakfast! I am really excited about this new platform for interaction to encourage women in the cannabis industry.”
Early bird ticket prices end soon. There will be a few promo codes and sales, but earlier is always better to get tickets for an event that hosted over 3,000 last year. Since last year, the aquarium, soda shop, and Ferris wheel have been added at Union Station. The aquarium allows more capacity for conference vendors and exhibitors. Chester says premium space is going fast. The 2019 MoCannBizCon+ Expo held different challenges than this upcoming expo.
“Our biggest challenge last year was just the fact that we turned that event around and only three months,” Chester said. “Even so, we had a stellar turn out and amazing expo, with fantastic speakers and really great energy! This year is a lot more organized behind the scenes, and we”ve made some improvements to the look of the event through production upgrades. We are super happy to be working again with Paramount Convention Services and Wolfe Productions. Our registration system is upgraded and our video delivery system will be much more sophisticated next year.”
With more time to plan than last year – which was a great success, MoCannBizCon+ Expo 2020 is set to be a dynamic and exciting event with something for everyone interested in the industry.
“I really want MoCannBizCon 2020 to be more dynamic and interactive than last year,” Chester said. “I challenge myself constantly to come up with new ideas and ways to bring the cannabis industry to life for the people of the Midwest. I strive to offer meaningful educational sessions that cover topics that operators need to know about and fun, interesting networking events that create opportunity and idea exchange.”
Not sure what to do with vendor space in 2020? Just ask Chester, she”s packed full of ideas as one of the most creative women in the industry. After Chester laid out some ideas for Greenway Magazine for the conference, we couldn’t help but ask her how she’s so creative.
“I”ve always had an active imagination,” Chester said. “I come up with things that are totally over the top and completely not feasible at all but sometimes I can scale it back and make it workable and making it something really amazing. But, I love to learn and find ways to do things better and smarter.”
