Cassandra Farrington to step down as CEO of MJBizDaily

Cassandra Farrington has announced that she will step down as CEO of Marijuana Business Daily, transitioning to the role of chair at year-end.

Farrington, who helped to found the news company in 2011, will be replaced by president and founding editor Chris Walsh.

Walsh, who has served as president since early this year, is a veteran business journalist with an MBA from Regis University.

   

Today, the company’s flagship event, MJBizCon, is expected to attract 35,000 attendees to Las Vegas in December.
