Proper Brands and the New Growth Horizon Foundation present the 3rd Annual “Wallflower” poster exhibition May 16th
Proper Brands and the New Growth Horizon Foundation are proud to announce the return of Wallflower, an annual poster exhibition and fundraiser, taking place May 16, 2025, from 6-10pm at Work & Leisure in Midtown St. Louis. Hosted in partnership with Friends for Good, the evening brings together over 35 local artists to create original posters inspired by Proper Cannabis’ genetics library. All poster sales will directly benefit The Last Prisoner Project and NAMI St. Louis.
“Wallflower celebrates art, advocacy, and the community that surrounds us—all while giving back in ways that align with our mission, vision, and values,” said Lara Pennington, Executive Director of the New Growth Horizon Foundation, Proper’s charitable arm.
This year’s show will include a very limited run of screen prints available exclusively at the event, hand-printed by St. Louis-based print studio Tiny Little Monster. Digital prints will also be available for purchase online.
“What makes Wallflower so special is the creative freedom we give artists,” said Naomi Tao, Senior Brand Manager at Proper Brands. “It’s where our brand meets the imagination of over 35 local artists. We give them a few seeds of inspiration, and what they grow from it is completely unexpected and incredible. The result is an incredible mix of styles, perspectives, and voices.”
