MSO Terrabis to open fourth Illinois dispensary with recent Woodstock city approval

Terrabis is thrilled to announce it has been approved to open its fourth Illinois dispensary at 611 S Eastwood Dr, Woodstock, IL 60098. This new location will be the first recreational marijuana dispensary in Woodstock. It is planned to open in early 2025, marking another vital step in Terrabis’ expansion across the state. Mayor of Woodstock, Mike Turner, told reporters with The Woodstock Independent, “I’d like to express my thanks to the folks from the cannabis dispensary for their investment in the city of Woodstock”.
This development follows the successful one-year anniversary of Terrabis’ Grayville dispensary, the largest in Southeast Illinois. The company’s second and third Illinois locations in Plainfield and Dixon are on track to open in the 4th quarter of 2024.
Dan Ambrosino, CEO of Terrabis, commented on this latest achievement: “The future opening of our Woodstock location confirms Terrabis’ commitment to solidifying our presence in Illinois and beyond. This expansion reflects our continuous growth and highlights our position as a successful leader in the cannabis industry.
Nick Liaromatis, CLO of Terrabis, added: “We are excited to join the Woodstock community and are eager to further strengthen our partnership with the city. Our focus is on creating jobs and serving the local community with the highest quality products and service, reinforcing our dedication to excellence and community engagement.”
In recent news, Illinois officials have announced $35 million in grants to 88 local organizations from taxes on adult-use marijuana sales, under the state’s Restore, Reinvest, Renew (R3) Program. This initiative further supports areas most affected by the historical impact of the war on drugs. A few of the grant recipients include the Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office, Northern Illinois Recovery Community Organization, and The Salvation Army.
Terrabis is dedicated to positively contributing to the local communities by fostering positive growth and development in the areas it serves. The company looks forward to working closely with local leaders and residents to maximize the benefits of this new venture.
More details about the Woodstock location will be shared as the opening date approaches. In the meantime, Terrabis invites the Woodstock community to stay connected and learn more through their website at www.terrabis.co and social media channels @TerrabisIL.
