New partnership focuses on cannabis microbusinesses, psychedelics
Today, Strategic Capitol Consulting (SCC), Amendment 2 Consultants (A2C) and Robbins Law Firm (RLF) announced that the companies are entering into a strategic partnership to expand government affairs, campaign management, public relations, and general consulting and legal services in the St. Louis region, and the cannabis microbusiness and psychedelic public policy areas.
The expanded collaboration will seamlessly integrate SCC and A2C’s professional services portfolio in the cannabis market in addition to helping clients seeking guidance navigating governmental agencies, highly regulated industries and emerging markets such as Psilocybin.
“This partnership is an extension of SCC, RLF and A2C’s already existing relationship in providing premier government relations, campaign public relations, communications and legal services. By joining forces, we aren’t just bolstering our services,” said Strategic Capitol Consulting Partner Tom Robbins. “We are bolstering our current and future client’s ability to win and create lasting impact in the region.
“We are excited to launch this joint venture with SCC. The combined skill sets and services offered by our firms complement each other so well that this was a very natural choice. Together with SCC, we look forward to leading the way on government affairs and cannabis business services,” said Amendment 2 Consultants Founder John Payne.
Robbins Law Firm will also be joining this venture, bringing their vast expertise in navigating the legal landscape of highly regulated industries and enhancing the collective strength of this collaboration. “SCC, A2C, and Robbins Law Firm are uniquely positioned to bring the necessary perspectives to such highly regulated industries. About Amendment 2 Consultants
A2C was founded by Managing Partner John Payne in 2019, following his success as campaign manager of New Approach Missouri, which legalized medical marijuana via Amendment 2 in 2018. The firm initially focused on the Missouri medical marijuana licensure process, and the team helped win nearly 20 licenses for clients. As the Missouri medical marijuana marketplace came to fruition, A2C provided a wide range of services to licensees and vendors in the space, including regulatory compliance, marketing and branding, social media management, public relations, government affairs, and business strategy consulting. A2C has also continued to work in the campaign space, leading the successful passage of Amendment 3 to legalize the adult use of marijuana in Missouri and consulting on a number of successful candidate campaigns in the City of Saint Louis.
