Proper Brands secures Missouri’s first CSQ Certification
Honeybee Edibles Becomes First CSQ Certified Cannabis Brand in the State
Proper Brands, a vertically integrated medical cannabis company just became the first in the state of Missouri to become CSQ certified. Out of the four brands under the Proper umbrella, Honeybee’s line of artisan edibles secured the CSQ Certification.
Honeybee was reviewed under the “Manufacturing and Infusion of Cannabis into Food & Beverage Products” standard, which applies to the addition of cannabis flower or cannabis derivatives into shelf-stable food and beverage products. This standard is one of four total standards within CSQ that are breaking new ground as part of the world’s first and only accredited cannabis certification program to meet ISO Requirements and regulatory requirements from seed to sale.
“Sites who achieve the CSQ certification are proving to their customers that they are willing to go above and beyond to supply only the safest possible products on the market,” said Matt Regusci, CSQ’s Technical Director. “Organizations like Proper Brands are doing this industry a favor by self-policing and proactively searching for ways to instill consumer confidence.
