Cannabis Care Team award-winning retail training goes virtual
The Cannabis Care Team is pleased to announce their virtual retail cannabis training program is now live and available to learners.
Since 2019, the Cannabis Care Team has devoted themselves to a goal of educating about cannabis as medicine to everyone from patients to families, operators to budtenders, alternative medical professionals to the most conservative and skeptical traditional clinicians. In just 2 short years, CCT has conducted over 350 private patient consultations and trained over 250 industry professionals. Their in-person training has been lauded as the most comprehensive training available for budtenders and a dedication to interactive training and content and styles that appeal to adult learners has proven to be rewarding and has furthered their mission exponentially.
Most recently being awarded the Greenway Reader’s Choice Winners for Best Training and Educational Consultants was a clear indicator of the impact of the training on Missouri’s industry. “It was incredible to learn we were nominated, but to find out that readers of Greenway took the time to VOTE for us was so exciting and to win meant the world to us,” said April Hatch, RN, and the co-founder of Cannabis Care Team.
With the onset of the pandemic in 2020 and the continuation of safety concerns still present today, coupled with the frequent turnover in the industry and the growing number of licensed operators scaling up across the nation, it became imperative to CCT to establish their success in training and building engaging content and make it available online!
With that in mind, the team spent the past year developing e-learning content that can provide evidence-based education for the cannabis industry regardless of geography while meeting the ever-changing staff and scaling of dispensary operations.
