Heya Wellness team growth continues 

Heya Wellness, a vertically integrated medical cannabis company with nine licenses, continues to celebrate the growth of our leadership team across all lines of business. New leadership roles added to our footprint include the appointment of Suzanne Morrison as Corporate Compliance Officer and Chad Seward as Director of Operations for our Kirksville manufacturing facility. 

Suzanne is no stranger to Missouri’s cannabis market, having previously served as the Director of Training for another operator and successfully opening five retail locations across the state. Suzanne comes to Heya Wellness with a long career history as a leader in hospitality and created multiple leadership development programs, shoulder-to-shoulder training, and food safety audits. Suzanne’s passion and commitment to educate about cannabis as medicine is unwavering and she has presented to law enforcement agencies, developed patient education sessions, and created a comprehensive training program for dispensaries. 

Her focus will be on driving compliance and setting up company-wide systems to ensure compliance is always top of mind and executing on compliance education throughout the Heya Wellness footprint. “I am so excited to be welcomed at Heya by a leadership team whose mission is to not only provide a high quality product for Missouri’s patients but that also strives to build a culture of development and investment in their people!” 

Chad Seward joins the Heya Wellness team and is our new Director of Operations at our Kirksville manufacturing facility. Chad comes to HW with 10 years of experience in the cannabis industry and has a strong background in consulting in seven states and three countries. Chad’s career history includes accolades for his strong knowledge of vaping and technology in cannabis and his previous experience in pharmacies gave him a strong foundation for his cannabis career. Among his accomplishments, one of the dispensaries Chad managed was voted 1 of the top 500 best dispensaries in the US by High Times magazine. 

    

His primary focus is on scalability and processes for Heya’s production facilities. Currently, Chad oversees production of Smokiez gummies for HW and building out his team for future success and increasing bench strength. “I’m excited to bring my knowledge to Heya and grow our high quality product lines with our Kirksville team.” 

Heya Wellness currently provides the Missouri market with a multitude of products, including the popular Smokiez gummies, a patient favorite in dispensaries. In 2022, they’ll launch multiple additional product lines and a loyalty program that rewards patients in their five dispensaries.
