Heya Wellness team grows

Heya Wellness, a vertically integrated medical cannabis company with nine licenses, is pleased to announce a new addition to their corporate team. Tammy Puyear, joins Heya as the leader for sales and marketing across all lines of business. Tammy has been on the periphery of the cannabis industry since 1998 as an investor and advocate while working in traditional corporate America. She spent 20+ years in a Fortune 50 telecom company and served as an executive leader in the healthcare space while simultaneously remaining connected in cannabis until 2018.

Since 2018, Tammy has been submerged in not only the global cannabis landscape but has served in multiple functions in Missouri’s cannabis market. As a member of MoCannTrade, a freelance writer for cannabis publications like Greenway and MJBrand Insights, and a trusted advisor and consultant to many of Missouri’s licensed operators and service providers, her perspective is holistic.

Tammy spent a year as the Chief Marketing Officer for a new licensee in Missouri while continuing to support clients. She helped launch JAINE, the women in Missouri cannabis organization of which she is co-president.

Puyear’s focus will be on bringing new products to market under the Heya Wellness brand and a new look and feel for the brand across the state. “I joined Heya for a number of reasons, among them the quality of their products – the first time I tried our Grease Monkey flower I knew there was something special about them. Now I can be a part of making sure Heya products are accessible to patients across the state.”

Heya Wellness currently provides the Missouri market with a multitude of products, including the popular Smokiez gummies, a patient favorite in dispensaries. In 2022, they’ll launch multiple additional product lines and a loyalty program that rewards patients in their five dispensaries.
