Vertical announces dispensary Grand Opening

St Joseph, MO – The community in St Joseph and the surrounding areas in northwestern Missouri can officially begin shopping at Vertical’s flagship medical cannabis dispensary on Saturday, July 24 when they open at 908 N Belt Highway. Vertical will serve qualifying patients and caregivers from 10 am to 6 pm Saturdays and 12 pm to 6 pm on Sundays.  Regular business hours will be from 11-7 Wednesday through Friday and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

“We’re looking forward to opening our doors to patients, while the road to operations has been long, with our approval to operate granted, our Grand Opening will be a great opportunity to start getting to know our community in person,” said Vertical CEO, Chris McHugh.“ McHugh, along with the entire dispensary team, have been planning and executing the dispensary design and strategy to create a retail environment where they can help educate the community about cannabis and its potential benefits. The dispensary offers a variety of products from Missouri’s licensed producers and are excited to unveil their own products on opening day.  

Vertical will have Grand Opening activities, including the ability to apply for patient card certifications from Elevate Holistics on Saturday, July 24th from  10 am to  6 pm. Activities include giveaways, partner marketing swag, and more. Only Missouri Patient Card holders will be able to purchase cannabis products in the dispensary.  

This Saturday, July 10, the dispensary will host a Patient Drive with deeply discounted certifications for visitors to obtain their Missouri patient cards.  The drive will be held from 10 am to 4 pm.  No product will be available for sale during the Patient Drive, but there will be a number of giveaways for those who visit and sign up for new cards.  Vertical’s Dispensary GM, Brian Williams said he hopes turnout for the event will help increase patient counts as well as introduce the team to Missouri’s patients.  “I’m so proud of this team’s efforts to get the dispensary ready to open, my staff has completed training by the Cannabis Care Team and we’re going to provide an incredible customer experience.”  

   

In addition to the dispensary in St Joseph, Vertical has a 62k+ square foot production facility where they both cultivate and manufacture products for supply to their own dispensary as well as other dispensaries across Missouri.
