15 smell-proof bags to keep your stash safe on the go
Gone are the days of simply throwing your stuff in a bag and heading out. We see innovation in every facet of our daily lives, so it should come as no surprise that cannabis connoisseurs now have many options for taking their herb on the go. There are several considerations that never would have occurred to us until we started research for this story – Does the bag have to be waterproof? While functional and design choices abound, it WAS slightly frustrating to see so many of our favorites in boring GRAY, but don’t hold that against us.

This makes it perfect for those who want to carry a lot of stuff around with them to use. The fabric is heavy-duty and features carbon technology which is meant to help with preventing smells from escaping. It’s also waterproof so if you need that extra assurance, you won’t have to worry about it being damaged by water. While a little on the pricey side, it’s made to last, so the durability helps to justify the higher price tag.

Another product offering multiple benefits, Helmet Head provides superior odor proof control, a lock to prevent unauthorized users from your stuff, AND waterproof both inside and out. extra props for this one for the two inside pockets to keep things organized – perfect for your grinder card, rolling papers, lighters, baggies, pipes and more.
While this one is on the expensive side, the multiple compartments are a great help in staying organized. Bursting with helpful products such as an odor absorbing OdorPax, two cannabis jars, a marking pen, and a stash journal, it’s the bag that keeps on giving. The lunchbox looking design isn’t a detractor for us, and the sturdy design make the higher price tag easier to swallow.

The Anonymous Bag is deceptively simple – but is lined with scent-suppressing foil and extra cushioning, this little bag is mighty in function and capacity. The included childproof locking zippers are an added bonus for this budget-friendly pick.
7. Black Rock Originals Safety Case: Complete Kit
This “kit” is exactly that. The compact design doesn’t leave anything out, and though small, the kit comes with everything you’d need for the perfect smoke session including papers, rolling tips, a grinder card, and a one-hitter. This is sleek and easy to store, but has plenty of space for the essentials. We liked the hand stitching and the carbon filters inside that truly provide the anti-stink needs of a consumer.

The company’s SmellSafe™ Carbon Series™ locks in odors for discrete storage and transport and we love that you can reactivate the Carbon lining filters, simply put in the dryer for 5 minutes. This one does provide a lockable zipper – but the lock is not included.
The disposable bags are effective without being expensive – but take them for what they are. These bags do a great job of providing protection from the elements and keep the smells inside the bag where they belong, but they ARE fancy disposable bags with no frills. Lake and beach lovers will enjoy the ease of these for herb – but they aren’t going to be a catch all for your other gear.
The Joyboxx Stashboxx is technologically savvy and the only item made out of plastic that made our list. It’s made to be anti-bacterial so mold isn’t going to be a concern, plus the built-in vents modulate temperature. The 2 locks are a great addition for privacy and control for your stash and supplies.
When it comes to simplicity and affordability – this is a great choice. The navy blue fabric that is thick enough to prevent odors from escaping and rips from easily occurring. On the top edge and in the interior, you’ll find Velcro straps inside. These are meant to help keep your equipment from falling out and others from quickly getting into your stash bag.
