Clovr to begin construction, looks at August end-date

Kansas City has approved the cannabis-manufacturing company Clovr to begin construction on its manufacturing facility.

The city’s go-ahead officially makes Clovr the first manufacturing company in Kansas City to receive their permit. The company is hopeful their construction will be complete by August and their staff can be filled shortly before construction’s summer end.

Josh Mitchem, Clovr’s CEO said, “It’s official, the first EVER. We are proud to be the first recipient of a building permit for a manufacturing facility in the history of Kansas City. “Construction has started, and we are just a couple short months away from being able to start the hiring process and bring great-paying jobs to our incredible city. Our mission is to put Clovr at the top of the Missouri market, and this permit is the start of it all. Stay tuned.”

Clovr is poised to release their own unique line of edibles, but also partners with Wana Brands and Keef Cola to bring their award-winning products to Missouri’s market. Clovr plans to produce chocolate, gummies, concentrates, and vape pens upon the completion of their construction.

The company is shooting for products to hit dispensary shelves by the end of the year.
