Frontenac-area bank to service medical marijuana
Marijuana Business Daily is reporting Triad Bank, located in Frontenac – a suburb of St. Louis, will offer deposit services to marijuana-related businesses, especially those with prior success as entrepreneurs.
“We are working with people who have been very successful in other businesses,” Triad Bank CEO Jim Regna told MJDaily. “Most of the people we have met with have had compliance experience in other industries.”
Other states have banks who service the industry, with at least one state having a state-backed bank for service.
