‘Ignite Missouri’ event to rally support for women and minorities in cannabusiness

By Kaycee Barry

Calling all Canna-connoisseurs, investors, sponsors, and anyone interested in learning more about the cannabis industry – on May 19, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Blueberry Hill Duck room in St. Louis, Green Rush Consulting is hosting the first of its kind event, “Ignite Missouri.”

The Ignite Missouri event features food, live music, CBD vendors, raffle prizes, and a “Shark Tank” style cannabis entrepreneur pitch competition that supports women and minorities who have graduated from the Cannabis Business Licensing Bootcamp.

The mission behind the Green Rush Consulting’s “Ignite Missouri” event is backed by the ideal that “as a community, we must commit to helping those most impacted by the War on Drugs benefit from the legal medical cannabis economy.” This event will be benefiting Minority for Medical Marijuana and The Last Prisoner Project.

The event is co-hosted by Oaksterdam University, Cannabis Doing Good, A Red Circle, Missouri Cannabis Business Review, and Mammoth Piano.
