by Brandon Dunn

The Versailles City Council heard testimony from Julia Crabtree, owner of Tranzform Wellness in Versailles,on Tuesday.

Crabtree took the opportunity during the regularly scheduled meeting at City Hall, to proactively request the to city consider alleviating or reducing the 1,000 foot buffer zone outlined in Amendment 2.

Crabtree advised the council of her plans to open dispensaries, if her application is approved by the state, in Versailles; and to operate locations in Pettis and Henry counties as well.

Crabtree stated that the reduction or waiver of the 1000 ft buffer would allow her to consider the purchasing available commercial buildings inside city limits. But with no approval of the variance Crabtree would have to establish a location in the county.

“You can see how I run my current business, Anything I do will be rolled out in a professional, medical fashion.”
